Depicting reality is crucial in Luca Righi’s vision, whether an industrial building or a face expression. This is the aspect of photography that fascinates him the most: the power to control time and memory. He started his career as an assistant in 2007, working for one of the largest photo studio in Modena, where he developed his still life and industrial photography skills. In addition to studio work, he investigates the underground music scene in Italy, profiling various artists. In 2012, he founded Kartu photo studio with his work and life partner Giulia Rizzini, a creative space specialised in advertising and corporate photography.
