Giulia Rizzini’s work explores human relationships with their surrounding environments. Design is key to her work method, together with a strong empathy and curiosity for people. She was born in Mantova (Italy) in 1982. She graduated in 2005 from ISIA Urbino and in 2007 she earned her Master’s degree in Editorial Photography. Following her passion for music, she started her career photographing bands and concerts as part of her dissertation research on underground music. She worked as both Graphic Designer and Photographer until 2012, when she founded Kartu, a photo studio catering to corporate and advertising photography, with her life & work partner Luca Righi.
